Great book. Had no idea. So glad a few who were involved got to tell their stories.
Walter Mitty & Forrest Gump
I saw a short interview of this gentleman on television so decided to read his book based on the fact he had (has anyone ever fact checked it?) a military career. If this book is to be taken at face value then this gentleman’s life and career was a cross between Walter Mitty & Forrest Gump. The use of the words I, me, we, us & our permeate the book as this gentleman is responsible for getting the space program to the moon, solving the Cuban Missile Crisis, taking on the CIA, creating the personal computing revolution and the development of SDI. In other words (or actually his words) he created the world in which we live and also saved us from the aliens. The government may have been involved in a cover up. The government may have outsourced alien technology to the private sector to create the society we now live in, BUT any credibility of the writer is massively dismissed by his fantastic daydreams of his personal triumphs where he is at the center of every story as the hero.

Since so much took place while i was still young I can now understand what really happened. I believe the truth should be told so that we can thank our military for keeping us protected. The real power is in the truth. I’ve personally witnessed UFO’s. I can rest easier tonight. Fantastic book. Ed. M.

The Day After Roswell
This was a fascinating read of a story that should not have been classified in the first place. I get sick and tired of the paternalistic behavior of our governmental officials who treat us like children or idiots. I wish Col. Corso and others had spoken out much sooner. I do not recall hearing about this book when it first came out and I think it should have created quite a stir. As a teen-ager in 1956-57, I witnessed a UFO hover silently for a minute or so in the summer sky beyond my open upstairs window in Indianapolis, then disappear in a flash, making no sound whatsoever. I have been a believer ever since and hope that before I die all will be revealed. I feel cheated by our government, but meanwhile I will continue to read books like this one and watch TV shows like Ancient Alien. ETs are out there folks, as are their space ships, so let’s gang-up on our politicians and demand that the “secret” files be open. And while they’re at it, demand that ALL of the un-redacted John F Kennedy assassination files be released too.
